It isn't the nature of business. In fact, Iowa had Parker tell everyone he was staying after being named the top DC in the country. Seth Wallace has had offers, and I guarantee you Levar Woods has had offers, shit I would say Debbie should offer Woods HC coaching money to be the special teams coach because your special teams are trash.

As I said we'll be fine at TE but Pascuzzi would have played some as the in line TE or FB like they used Large. Oh, and you forgot Ortwerth at TE, probably the next star TE at Iowa....

Big12 is definitely a lower level of competition that Nebber could probably finish in the middle of the pack with.

Best wishes, performed fairly well in a couple games. Its tougher to hold onto developing players nowadays, a lot of movement, and you receive a coupon for a free ice vanilla cream cone if you take the portal ride a second time.

Tough gig showing your pass catching and route running skills when the aerial assault at IOWA has been almost non-existent the past few years. It does sound like IOWA has a couple more coming in next spring so maybe he has a destination in mind for more PT. Hope he catches on and finds a home.

Thats fine, I disagree. We always have at least one guy who's basically a blocking TE, and he fits that role well. He probably wants to be used more as a pass catcher, so he'll probably look to a MAC school or lower. Still he was in the portal this spring and ended up coming back. I'd bet it will be even harder to catch on somewhere with a lot of teams have to cut loose players this offseason. It's also possible that Abdul Hodge has already told him to look for greener pastures as Iowa prepares to start trimming the roster this week.

It does bring some levity to the board. Sometimes when you think things aren’t all that you need to look at those far less fortunate.

It is like every large Family that has a annual Family reunion , There is always that 1 in law that thru there own doing gets laughed at and talked about before they arrive every Year and without fail gives a new reason for the entire Family to have new material to laugh about the entire next Year till the next reunion. I have seen this situation arise in livestock over the Years when You do not swap out Your breeding males for Years , The offspring gets " defective" That is Nebraska .
