Delusional Democrats—stop

This is getting out of hand with the isms and casting a wide blanket on everyone that doesn’t vote the way you want them to vote. We are now entering a territory where all people are racists or misogynistic unless they vote Dem. But this is the type of clip I and many others have been pointing out for years on your messaging. Then add in the fact that the MSM (and the partisan libs on here) is basically saying everyone is stupid, dumb, racist, etc… because a certain segment of society didn’t vote their way.
It doesn’t matter. A majority of voters tuned out the isms and ists a long time ago. As long as the mainstream media keeps it going, the future is bright for Republicans.

Tell me what Trump would have done to keep inflation even lower than what Biden did - you know, the economy with the lowest inflation after covid.
That's the bizarre assumption on the right. That somehow a Trump administration would've thwarted inflation without significantly damaging the economy in other ways. What's the magic formula the rest of the world couldn't figure out?

Would he have been happy to 'fix' inflation by throwing us into a recession?

I hate hy-vee but they're so close. Was thinking Aldis or Fareway more often.
That's our problem too. Hy Vee is like 2 minutes away, so we just go there when we need something really quick. But plan the bulk of our shopping for ALDIs. The only annoying thing about them is they're constantly moving different products in and out, so there's always the chance you'll buy something you really like and then in a couple weeks they no longer sell it. That's been the only gripe I've had about them since we started shopping there.

Explain to us in specifics how Trump is going to lower Hy Vee prices to 2019 (as he promised). Can you do that, Champ?
Trump is not going to be able to do that, he was stupid to promise that. But I have been through enough election cycles to know that a bad economy (particularly inflation and higher interest rates) are a killer for the encumbent party.

Trump would not have been able to do anything. Trump is an idiot.

I was just pointing out something in the "Biden economy" that was a key pain point for a lot of people.

So you're saying people are ignorant and reactionary? I can agree with that.
I try to stay away from generalizations. I think there were some people that moved to the Trump side because they think he can address the inflation issue better than Kamala. I think there were a whole lot more people who stayed home because Kamala gave them no hope that she can handle the issue, based on what they have seen over the last few years and based on Kamala not providing a consistent message on how she will make things better.

Well, it's a shame people are stupid, isn't it?
Based on your posts, you seem to be firmly entrenched in your beliefs, and I admire you for that. I hope you are taking it beyond this message board.

I suggest you go to your place of work, your church, your local PTA meeting... whatever... and proudly stand up and say all Trump supporters are idiots, racists, misogynists....

It always interests me when people say things like this. The way people can hold individuals to completely different standards with no reflection is fascinating.

Who am I holding to a different standard? I have said Trump is an idiot. I am just trying to provide a reasonable explanation for why voters stayed home.

That's an interesting take. I thought we were discussing people not understanding the causes of inflation and the inability of trump to do as he promised.
Why do you suppose you pivoted so strongly in our conversation?

I didn't name you did I? You said you thought that people didn't vote for her because of the clarity of her message and then you got upset when I pointed out that this was a stupid reason when her opponent was even less coherent.

I pivoted because I felt it was worth mentioning the people will anonymously say things on a message board that they would never say in a public place. I will admit that I have been guilty of this, but I'm trying to work on it.

Holy shit. You voted for a twice impeached rapist felon best friend of Jeffery Epstein who is being investigated for leaking military secrets and you think the dems went 'too far'?
Priceless.

Everyone is searching for answers on why this happened. The main opinion that I am trying to express (probably poorly) is that I believe a poor economy is a killer for the encumbent that is very difficult to overcome, and Harris was not up to the task.

Ah, well I have made several comments to real life friends today that express my disgust.
I have a friend who made a snarky post about losing facebook friends and 'wondering why'.
I let him know that I considered doing the same and it was due to the hypocrisy of those like him who wear their faith on their sleeves and yet are celebrating the victory of a morally bankrupt person.
I have also expressed my disappointment with my parents.

And I was pointing out that the economy isn't poor. And is good by comparison to the rest of the western world. So if people made decisions they way they did so out of ignorance.

I am not surprised at all that the D's are using the race card in defeat (or when facing defeat).

And the race card is used often on here.

On July 17 (after Biden had exited the race and Kamala looked like the replacement) @Chishawk1425 created a thread titled "I wave the white flag." He then wrote this: "No chance she wins. Country far too racist."

@Huey Grey used the race card in another thread this morning, writing this:

Nah Trump appealing to the Joe Rogans of the world is what cost us this election. DonOld went after the dumbest, more racist people in this country, and it paid off. If that's what it takes to win elections these days then I'm fine with the Dems refusing to adapt

I bet you have a lot more in common with your friends and parents than areas of disagreement. And it is certainly important to let them know your feelings.... to a point.

Kamala and Diddy were seen at parties as well. There are pictures!
Jennifer Lopez and Diddy were a thing for quite some time and you know J-Lo had to see some “things”.
J-Lo stumped for Kamala recently.
Kamala ain’t no angel in any shape of the word.

I'm sure I do, but they are making decisions that affect their family and yet are more concerned about things they hear on TV. It's disappointing and I have no problem letting them know.
I won't avoid my parents because of this (I'm the local support for them) but I will let them know why their grandkids aren't comfortable in their house.

As someone who knows many ‘Mexicans, he ain’t lyin. By and large, they don’t like black people and women fill more traditional roles in their culture. Hilariously, the Mexican President is a woman. lol.
