Democrats, WTF?

Hey Seminoles, WTF is wrong with your Dem Florida reps??????

Castor - FL
Cherfilis-McCormick - FL
Frankel, Lois - FL
Frost - FL
Soto - FL
Wasserman Schultz - FL
Wilson - FL

@BelemNole you degenerate come defend this as I’m sure you’ll try.
He lives in Northern California, I wouldn’t think he needs to defend Reps from SoFla.

Did anyone ask themselves, why have celebrities been silent on this issue?

They seem to offer their opinions on other issues. They also seem to oppose Trump and the GOP generally who are attempting to address this issue. Why is that?

Do celebrities get their marching orders from somewhere?

Who controls celebrities political statements / activities in the US? And why?

Maybe because those who commit felonies and violent misdemeanors are already deportable, and more than 100 advocacy groups for domestic violence survivors were against the bill because it will discourage women from reporting.

But excellent use of “tards.” Classy.
There's always a catch with this when Eloon is trumpeting it you know. But mission accomplished clueless GOP voters soak it up.

I’m not challenging you as much as I am curious how this bill will discourage women from reporting sexual assault/abuse. What’s the argument?

It should be pretty obvious why diddy allied celebrities would remain quiet on the actions of epstein allied politicians in regards to this topic. It's exactly what you'd think.

How specifically would it discourage women from reporting rape?

Your preferred politicians prevent them from being deported. How can you support that?

Kamala Harris public enemy #1

Not only does she think these animals shouldn’t be deported, she thinks they deserve tax payer funded healthcare too!

70 million braindead Americans voted for that woman! Unbelievable!

Kamala Harris and Joe biden have lost track of half a million children who came across the border, many of them trafficked. Dems thought she deserved a promotion for that performance too. Pretty much shows their true feelings on the issue

Given the coverup scandal in the UK I am starting to wonder about whether local/state/Fed Democrats are complicit in covering up this human trafficking scandal here in the USA. Birds of a feather and all.

There's definitely a shared value structure and much of it is highly dubious. Remember democrat dick durbin fighting to keep the epstein logs under seal? I'd say youre probably right unfortunately.

"The law also applies to immigrants who have admitted to sexual crimes, even if they have not been formally convicted."

That seems problematic.

"They only said they committed violent sex crimes guys, let's show them some mercy!!"

Nah.

Anti-American scum, the lot of them.

“Pingree, along with other far-left Democrats such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), voted to allow illegal immigrants to remain in the country after abusing women, including U.S. Citizens and female immigrants.

Vote them out!

Here is the letter in opposition sent to Congress by the National Task Force to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, which represents more than 180 victim advocacy groups.

Do they also oppose sentencing American citizen criminals because incarceration would create hardship on a spouse and their children? That is essentially their argument and it is a pretty shitty one.

We do not want violent criminals to live in our communities or become citizens. Period! What is so hard to understand about that?

It doesn’t.
Okay, good. So it isn’t just me, because I was scratching my head thinking WTF am I missing?

I do not understand how this bill could be objectionable. I don’t get it. If we can’t have unanimous agreement on getting rid of violent people who have no business being here, then I don’t know what hope we have for any semblance of unity or the common good of the United States of America.

Again, I don’t get it.

My apologies for being late to the thread. I have to prioritize and MAGA threads come in right after polls about sock drawer organization. That said:

  • Didn't this happen way back in September?
  • Don't we already have laws in place to address this? INA § 237(a)(2)

Key Provisions of the INA Relevant to Deportation

  1. Deportability for Criminal Offenses:
    • Under INA § 237(a)(2), non-citizens (both lawful permanent residents and undocumented immigrants) can be deported if convicted of certain crimes. Sexual assault can fall under these categories:
      • Crimes involving moral turpitude (CIMT): Many forms of sexual assault are considered CIMTs due to their inherently vile or depraved nature.
      • Aggravated felonies: Sexual abuse of a minor, rape, and other serious offenses are classified as aggravated felonies under INA § 101(a)(43), leading to mandatory deportation upon conviction.

How does the vote on 7909 relate to current federal law?

I’m aware.

The problem is if they are here illegally and there’s even a question of moral turpitude—which happens when someone confesses to a crime, false or not—then the point is moot. They are here illegally, so their legal standing loses all merit.

There doesnt even need to be "a question of moral turpitude".

Anyone here illegally is subject to deportation.
