The big east is, I think, the toughest conference top to bottom. Just slightly ahead of the B1G and only because jnw is terrible and nebby is really close to terrible.
But depaul has clearly staked their claim as worst in that league.
Some of the predictions on this board about them were WAY off. More importantly, predictions about the Hawks after they face planted at home early against depaul were also off.

Is that how Creighton beats people? Simple backdoor cuts and pick and rolls?
I hope Iowa meets them in the tourney, I think we'll handle them just fine.
Not that it really matters anymore, but that HOME loss to DePaul is now just as bad as the ROAD loss to Nub.
Of course if we finish one game out of the conference championship, then the Nub loss will be way worse.

The Nebby loss is a Quad 3 loss and for now the DePaul loss is a Quad 2 loss. If DePaul loses a couple more games and drops in the NET rankings it will become a Quad 3 loss.
I understand the "quad" system, but imo both are equal since DP was at home while Nub was on the road with a short turnaround following another very tough road game against a great team.
