The Nebby loss is a Quad 3 loss and for now the DePaul loss is a Quad 2 loss. If DePaul loses a couple more games and drops in the NET rankings it will become a Quad 3 loss. Not that it really matters anymore, but that HOME loss to DePaul is now just as bad as the ROAD loss to Nub.
Of course if we finish one game out of the conference championship, then the Nub loss will be way worse.
DePaul is going to win their share of Big East Games, On any given night they can beat anyone. It was anyone's game last night up till the 3 minute mark of the 2nd half. By the end of the year the loss to DePaul will not be a stain on Iowa's record. They will not finish last in the Big East!
I understand the "quad" system, but imo both are equal since DP was at home while Nub was on the road with a short turnaround following another very tough road game against a great team. The Nebby loss is a Quad 3 loss and for now the DePaul loss is a Quad 2 loss. If DePaul loses a couple more games and drops in the NET rankings it will become a Quad 3 loss.
