Depressing statistic

Who has the meme of the guy getting up from the conference table and jumping out the window?

That’d be appropriate here.

How bout this one instead?

200 wins at Iowa divided by 26 seasons is 7.69 wins so far. Or 196 divided by 25 is 7.84. Not an average of 8 wins but do like seeing the handy and BJ gestures. Thank you.
It's greater than 7. And let's dismiss the high & low. The initial 1-10 season is on Hayden & one could argue the 2nd season of 3-9 as well were rebuilding. Now recalculate that. 196 wins over 24 season = 8.16 wins per season.

By my count it's been 58 games.

40-18. Nothing close to depressing.

The activity is football, not passing yardage. The stat very inaccurately describes Iowa's level of competence in the activity.

Not sure what would even cause someone to think of that stat. Weird world we live in

You seem obsessed by being blown by men...not that there is anything wrong with that...it is 2024

This is a meaningless stat.
It’s meaningless up to a certain number of games. Everyone else on that is in a reasonable spot. Except the bottom few are showing signs of continued failure in the pass game.

But to go 4+ seasons without a big day passing, against anybody, is a tattoo of perpetual futility. It isn’t like they haven’t been in games where they desperately needed it.

And two of those wins almost every year were over UNI and Arkansas State competition. So while you're doing your math, subtract two. Although KF did manage to lose to Northern Illinois and Western Michigan and nip UNI by ONE point after his NFL-laden squad blocked two FG attempts at the end of the game. So really, the more you examine the record, the more impressive it gets. LOL

Yep, tons of criticism and skepticism on KF and CM this week. Then on Saturday they'll turn in a gem of an offensive performance against a pathetic Northwestern team and all the KF apologists will be puffing their chests talking about what a genius he is. Lol.

Heard yesterday something like our secondary is 2nd in the nation in giving up passing yards. Maybe that is why our practices look so good to KF?? So there is 2 depressing stats for you. Not only can we not pass the ball, but we cant stop anyone from passing against us either.

Describe Iowa's level of competence against very good teams over the past 58 games. You know - games that matter.
