Did he kill her?

I cannot remember the name of the guy, but this reminds me of a case in IC awhile back. Some guy killed his family and then they found his car parked at Hickory Hill Park. The tactical team geared up and spent a day swaggering through the park, when everyone knew the dude had shot himself. They didn't find him, but didn't a retired cop from CR drive down the next day, park near where the guy's car was found, and walk along the first deer trail he saw and found the body. His assumption was in the guy's demented state he'd just want to find a spot in the woods and kill himself.

How in the world did they not find his belongings until now?

Anyone know where Franki Figs was when this went down?
He was found in a field in Louisiana at the crime scene of 2 young girls trying to resuscitate them, but as a black man of low intellect, he was subsequently wrongly sentenced to death by electric chair. Years later, it is found that another man killed the girls, and Franki was indeed trying to help them.

It's ok, he was tired. So tired.

Well they found his teeth, that's a good start.
I can see someone knocking out some teeth for him as part of an elaborate plot to disappear.
Just saying. I doubt he was that smart, but, until they find a torso I’m not writing out a death certificate.

I thought they found bones?

This story gets more and more bizarre….how long until there is a true crime series on Netflix and people make this dude into a hero and determine it’s actually her college rhetoric TA that they ran into our West (or something equally absurd)

Not that fast. They were looking there a few days after they realized he was not in house. Vultures and the heat are prevalent in Florida, but as a life long resident nearing 50 years, I can tell you bodies dumped in the woods don't often turn into mere bones in a month. It can happen in the water from fish and gators...but then the bones get scattered elsewhere, not next to his backpack....with his journal.

I love how being a resident of Florida makes one an expert in how long human bodies take to decompose.

That’s the most Florida thing I’ve ever heard.

Until you have dumped a dead gator fan in a national forest and watched with binoculars from your van as you pose as a journalist two months later when law enforcement process the body, jhorts and mullet still intact, you should shut your whore mouth.

I am sure the Nancy Grace's of the world are sorry Brian was found. This is pretty much over now. No one will remember this story before long. On to the next thing....

They're already on to the AlecBaldwin shooting....It was the first news story I heard every day this week....but I agree, a week from now the Brian Laundrie story will be old news.....

WFLA reporters apparently are receiving a lot of questions about this case. I can't tell you what is said b/c I have too many Crypto Banter videos to watch.
