There have been multiple stories written about JBo intentionally missing this free throw since it happened with quotes from JBo. This is not just idle speculation on this board.
I have no insider knowledge, only what I have read in articles and heard on podcasts. I think I will go with that over some idle speculation on a message board, even if the person speculating is a wizard!

I believe that people who do not like JBo are looking for reasons to discredit him. I am not saying that is you. The missed free throw occurred three years ago and now there are people speculating about his motives. As you mention, no one knows what goes on inside someone else's head. Jordan said he missed it on purpose and all of the reports at that time were that he missed it on purpose. That is good enough for me to not need to look for some sinister ulterior motive now that some people have a beef with him.
