Disney Transportation Question

We're headed to Disney World in a few weeks. We're flying from CR direct so we'll be arriving at Sanford airport, not Orlando International. We're staying in Downtown Disney and it looks like there are no hotel shuttles from Sanford so it would either be a taxi or car service. Didn't know if anyone had any experiences with the different car services down there? There will be 4 of us. Thanks.

It's about $100 cab ride so try to get a cheaper service. I actually rented a car for the one night, arrived late into International left from Sanford the next morning, but you're staying a while

I looked at renting a car just to drive it to our hotel but we get in late and plan to be at the parks the following day so I wouldn't be able to return it.

Did you check into Disney running a shuttle? The last time we went there we were picked up at the Orlando airport, and I ran into a guy who said he'd been shuttled in from Daytona Beach. Maybe there is a service from Sanford.
If you have any reason to leave the resort I'd rent the car. We had a kitchenette in our room so having the car for the two trips to Publix and one trip to a restaurant made it worth it. It really wasn't that expensive.

Depending on how long you are going to be there it could well be cheaper to rent the car for the entire trip than to take a taxi or a shuttle.
