Do you like the idea Iowa is playing first out of the gates?

Tomorrow? I do as then they can sit back and watch the other teams play after them.. get a feel for who they might be playing next... it’s not going to be an easy game against (Oregon) but if Iowa plays to its abilities this game will be over at halftime... defense defense defense hit from behind the arc

I think it helps Iowa.

Oregon has a (for them) 9am tip off. They're a hot team right now (only 3 losses since January), but haven't played since March 11th.

We'll see.

Sounds like someone who is trying to find an excuse. Have some faith brother.

I don’t like early games but it is probably better for the team because they have to get up early and get tested anyway.

Call in sick

That's an even bigger pain in the ass for me plus then I have to jump through 7 hoops of COVID testing. But it wasn't a bad suggestion.

Also, I guess I will be happier missing an Iowa win than watching an Iowa loss. If they win, then I get to watch them again next week. If they lose, I'll be too busy for it to ruin my day.

Just a question but do people on here not have DVR's. I mean its 2021??? I'll be at work until about noon and be sure not to turn on anything with the scores. Get home, take a shower, grab a beer and turn the game on.

I have no idea. I hope it affects Oregon more than Iowa. They haven't played in over a week and they'll be playing what is for them a 9AM game. It's an odd time for a Monday game, though. I wish they had stuck with the Thurs-Sun schedule.

A) I don't have that kind of patience.
B) It's really, really, really, really, hard to avoid the score of the game.
C) Most importantly, whenever I record a sporting event, the team I want to win loses. Every time. The kicker was during an Illinois-Iowa game in the early 90's Illinois went up 20 in the first half. The VCR got shut off at half time and Iowa came back to win the game. If that isn't rock solid proof that I should never record a game I have a cheering interest in again, I don't know what else is.

I don't think it has any impact on the outcome of the game. It sucks for those who have to work though. Never understood the logic in pushing the schedule back a day, something about covid protocols, but I wouldn't figure pushing back a day would matter when a lot of the teams played < 1 week before Friday-Saturday.

YES! I am ready for the game to start. I'd hate to wait through other games before seeing the Hawks win.

:)

Well, I can say that I'm REALLY glad I didn't waste a sick day on that dumpster fire.

I was pissed as hell sitting through the engagement I couldn't get out of............ then I was in the car heading home and I heard the Dolph say the Ducks were up big and would advance to the Sweet 16. Off went the radio and that former pissyness turned into a "Thank God I wasn't home to watch that!".

LMAO!!!! What would have made it an even better story is if that was your own engagement party... 😄
