Do you see a repeat of 2009? Or do we repeat 2002?

Either way, it would be cool to make our third Orange Bowl under Kirk Ferentz wouldn't it?

Well, not exactly either way, since Iowa must go undefeated to play in this year's Orange Bowl, which would be really cool, though the Cotton Bowl would be a great first. First, College Football Playoff, with first date in the Cotton?

But, in 2009, Iowa didn't get through the season with their #1 QB healthy. It was great to see C.J. Beathard gaining the first down, but as the game went on his mobility and ability to pass on the move showed he was at 70%, at best?

I don't see an easy path the rest of the way. All four of those teams will be attempting to rain on Iowa's historic November run.

We need C.J. Beathard making plays, especially in the passing game and avoiding the crippling hit, that befallen Ricky Stanzi in 2009. Many of you may have already seen the hit Jake Rudock took at the hands of Minnesota.

No one wants to see this in November. Hopefully, Jake Rudock is able to rebound. Here's to Iowa's November run, including a healthy or playable C.J. Beathard. The next four games will all be challenging.

On Iowa! Great to be 8-0 Hawkeyes!
