@lucas803-6 inches of wet heavy snow with blizzard conditions expected for my area. Who’s the SOB that said winter is officially over? I’d like to kick him square in the balls!
Not sure why anyone would have agreed. All anyone had to do was look at the 10 day forecast and see temps were going to be below 40 on Saturday and no where near the 60 he said it was going to be yesterday.
Over 45 degrees every day for a week, and 60 on Sunday. This is it. Winter is over. We're in the clear.
Where the hell do you live? I thought you were around Iowa city. Might want to find a new weather source if you are around Iowa city.
Street sweepers deployed in IC today, and young ladies jogging in shorts through campus today.
It's over. Winter is over.
I don’t think @lucas80 and I were being totally serious. Yeah, there’s always a risk in Iowa of a major snow event in March and April (although it hasn’t happened in years). But whatever happens tomorrow has zero chance of sticking to the ground for any length of time. We’re going to be in the 60’s in a week. Not sure why anyone would have agreed. Some layoffs might have been justified if he was using a nws app to get his forecast.
I tried to ask him where he was getting his weather from but he never replied but instead doubled down later in the thread.
Can always count on you to make unfunny posts (while you think you’re hilarious) in weather-related threads, runlblade.surprised we know given the catastrophic cuts at the national weather service.
Haha well you may have been joking but when someone posts it’s not going to be below 40 again and will be 60 on Sunday and all it takes is looking at a weather app to know your wrong, on both accounts that doesn’t seem like joking.I don’t think @lucas80 and I were being totally serious. You know what, screw it. Winter is over.
If the op in the winter is over post used any sort of nws app, I think it’s safe to say those cuts were justified.surprised we know given the catastrophic cuts at the national weather service.
First day it gets humid there will also be a tornado watch.Better cancel school the rest of the week since we might get some bad weather - wind and snow in Iowa. Who would have thunk that Iowa gets snow during wintertime? I’m sure the weather porn on the local channels will be at full erection later today as my watch is buzzing about possible blizzard conditions on Wednesday. Such is life in Iowa.

It's always right around girls state BB time. Districts start in early February and State is early March. Shocking that there's bad weather at some point in a month long stretch in February and March in Iowa.As I and Frank Miller ( register satire cartoonist ) predicted, the sh!t always hits the fan during Iowa HS girls BB tourney...
And the typical dicks saying “it’s Iowa in winter, what do expect?” STFU, you didn’t have to open the thread jackasses!LOL...the usual numpties bringing politics into a discussion.

Just got finished watching " Air Disasters " on the Smithsonian channel. If you could kindly forward me you name and SS number, I'd like to get life insurance policy on you in place today...Flying into Des Moines tomorrow. Hopefully I can get in and out ok. Don’t really care what it does when I’m there.
Oh absolutely. I’ll include my bank routing and account numbers as well. That might save a follow-up conversation.Just got finished watching " Air Disasters " on the Smithsonian channel. Sorry, I didn't realize how clingy you were, and needful of my attention. I'm just not that into you and don't read your posts. Not sure why anyone would have agreed. Good one. I called you out about your false info.Sorry, I didn't realize how clingy you were, and needful of my attention. I'm just not that into you and don't read your posts.
After I called you out. I said you should find a new app as this past weekend wasn’t even close to what you claimed was predicted and what the actual weather ended up being.I use the NWS, mostly. What I see on my forecast is every day being above freezing. Some days well above 50. As I said, we might get a dusting, but, Winter is over. We get a few more minutes of sunlight every day, and the winds are shifting to a more southerly flow. Temps are moderating. We aren't going to get meaningful snow or prolonged below freezing temps.
Link to massive Winter storm that hit IC this past weekend?Good one. I called you out about your false info.

I guess I’ll just post a bunch of fake news. I’m sure it will turn out great on this board. I’ll just let them know how clingy and attention seeking they are when they call me out.
What the fvck does that have to do with anything. Are you so stupid that you think anyone said a massive winter storm hit ic this past weekend?Link to massive Winter storm that hit IC this past weekend?

Still looking like a chilly weekend in the Cedar Rapids Iowa city area and still failing to address my original comment I see.
Its a good thing we can predict climate change 100+ years out though.Let’s just see what actually plays out. Seems like the weather forecast is usually wrong
Way to double down on being a douche. You can’t read a weather forecast so you call me the loser that lives in a trailer with my mom. Good one!@IAFB2021Champs
Better tie down the single wide you share with your mom.
At least you share her with us. You aren’t all bad, Bro.Way to double down on being a douche. You can’t read a weather forecast so you call me the loser that lives in a trailer with my mom. Good one!
