DuHawk Open

I have two observations here... MK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It appears DanteR's days at 141 are over for ISU. So here is what Jackson is facing at the 141/149 mess that is ISU wrestling... Meeks ain't cutting it at 141 so Boston should be the guy and Moreno isn't cutting it at 149 so DanteR should be the starter there. Problem is the Moreno connection at ISU is strong, so Gabe likely gets the spot even tho there are better options. DanteR had his shirt burned and then gets screwed by Jackson.

I'll make this prediction right now... DanteR isn't wrestling at ISU next season if KJ is still the coach.

Moreno is out for the year. He has to have shoulder surgery again.

I thought that last year. And the year before. And the year before that.
Before this season, KJ's team has been police blotter free for the most part. Then the Harrington issue, then the RRS punch, the continued screwing up of redshirt decisions, and the regression of Earl Hall. If Downey doesn't see the mat? Cumulatively... this might be the dagger.

The chances of them finishing higher than 15th or so, looks extremely low. TW is their only chance at having an AA.

This time... he gone.

Did we get a final answer on Glosser / Kemmerer?

The first line got me going. Sounds like there were some nice showings.

Almost makes a guy want to get some crazy lineups together, post them, have the board make fun of you, and then wait 6 month and have Chief post the exact same thing only to have everyone say, "Great ideas, Chief"

Along these lines, I sure hope this Kemerer kid develops some offense before next year. Just never seems to pull the trigger.

That match took place on Mat #5, which was inside the Loras practice room. Kemerer, outshot McCoy, 10-1, and was in on multiple shots, but failed to score. McCoy benefitted from a small mat, meaning the official, when close to the edge had to blow his whistle. McCoy really never threatened throughout the match. I didn't feel the match was that well officiated. All in all, Kemerer is the real deal, and Hawkeye fans should excited for his future.
My projection--a 4X AA.

Pretty impressive day with six champs out of ten weight classes. What happened to the hawks at 125, 133, 157, and 285? Did they have anyone entered at 125 or 133? Is Phillip Laux back on the team?

Perez Squared got 5th at 125

Mcquillen and Ericksen DNP at 157. Thomsen got 5th. No one at HWT.

This is all on Track.

Laux is back at Iowa but not on the team from what I understand.
