Eff them medicaids

Don’t think they know what the F they’re doing. They want to stop some funding in certain areas which they think the law is being circumvented. But they don’t know how to do it without taking out a bunch of other funding.
I read a good description on Reddit. Something like some dumb shit blindly clipping all the wires in the breaker box because his smoke alarm is going off.

What kind of a f*cking ignoramus shut it down in the first place? Didn’t these dumbf*cks think it through?
They are adopting a shock-and-awe strategy, fully aware that not every extreme executive order will pass. However, many will slip through because the opposition simply can't keep up with the sheer volume of destructive measures that Trump and Stephen Miller are attempting to implement.

Shut the f*** up. Your kids entire futures don't rely on this. Mine do. Without therapy there is a 90% chance one if not both live their lives out in a group home. That is presuming Trump doesn’t strip the funding for those as well.

So don't tell me it's gonna be ok. My kids are not going to make it long past our death if this asshole gets his way.
That's very unlikely. The cons have defunded most of the group homes over the years. No place for them to go to if therapy falls through.

Unfortunately, this is one of the areas that med and legal fields mesh whether we like it or not.

I don't want to ever hear another GOP say we have a mental health crisis after a gun shooting. We are not providing adequate care. County Homes are closed. One of the State Homes just got shut down....another soon to be.

This will just make our problem worse - wife retiring in 3 days and has been filing for her SS and our Medicare since the beginning of December. No response to calls or emails. Our insurance through her company runs out in 3 days so we may need to pay a very high monthly fee til this is "fixed".
You are advised to @sign uo@ for SS at least 3 months ahead of your intended retirement date.
Our experiences with SS were as promised and they have always contacted us when they promised to contact us. Been on the “gravy train” for 9-10 years now next month and SS and MediCare have been zero problems for my bride and myself.
Sorry about your issues. Good luck. (We did everything initially by phone, too.)

Ok, well we had what appears to be the only workable solution and people got pissed off we were creating giant facilities to house them in.

And gone with the "asylum" or "institution".

I agree it needs fixed.

As someone who watched my mother go through this process recently, you seem to be WAY behind where you should be. She had all that shit set up, 3 days before retiring the only thing she was worried about was never seeing that check hit her account yet. Not waiting in return info.

Respectfully.

They are going to have it back online shortly and all transactions will be processed.

Yes, this is annoying.
Do you agree this is incompetence? If this happened on Biden’s watch you would be on here harping on how Harris personally turned off healthcare to the poor.

This is what happens when we put someone in charge whose greatest asset is selling snake oil. Not only does he not know what he is doing, but he surrounded himself with sycophants that don’t know what they are doing either. Biden was a f*cking vegetable and he at least didn’t break healthcare for millions out of hubris.

But have no fear, Trump’s 28 year old press Secretary (married to a 60 year old real estate dude of course) will soon find a deep state dem to blame.

Exactly how Trump/MAGAts operate. This act is as plain as the nose on one’s face. This is how Trump operates. Wake the phuque up, America!

Do I agree it's incompetence. Sure. I think someone who was competent would have said "hey that going to make this fail".

Nobody broke anything out of hubris. Every transaction will go through.

What you are watching, is actual change. And yes, shit happens during major change. Not all of it great, but instead of 4 years of pass the puck from side to side government, we are going to see change.

A portion of what I do involves companies switching to our computer systems, it's very common for there to be bugs during that process, maybe that's why I'm understanding of this.

Again, I could understand how this stressed people out and someone "had a really shitty day"

If you were a CEO you have been around the block enough to understand shit can happen during a transition process though, and that isn't to say someone shouldn't get a ass chewing or worse.

The administration gore in front of it and immediatly said all issues would be handled and all payments would be processed, act like you have had to deal with a shitty situation before.

You are watching change, there is going to be some set backs.

Instead they'll run moderate campaigns and candidates, that promise to bring bipartisanship and civility back to politics.

Like they always do.
Harris couldn’t distance herself from the liberal label. America did not perceive her as a moderate.

The Dems would clean house if they ran a moderate…the last time they did that with Biden they won easily.

I ask this honestly and am not trying to attack you but what would it take for you to think “damn, maybe he isn’t such a great idea after all”? Seriously.

One would think that leadership would have been out in front of this beforehand. Trump lives to “shoot from the hip” and pick up the pieces….if he has to. This was a soup sandwich and handled poorly. There are CEOs who would get fired for a phuque up of this magnitude.

I ran a company that had mission critical logistics systems counted on by millions of truck drivers, shippers, etc. We held ourselves to a better than five nines standard (99.999%+ uptime). We modernized this system and it didn’t fall down. But sure, had I gone in like Trump’s team behaving like a bull in a China shop - stuff would have broken. And I would have been fired (and deservedly so) for not actually using a modicum of thought along the way. We understood risks, we had a plan, we had contingencies in place and we had constant communication with our customers on the transformation. That is the least Trump should be demanding as the institutes change.

This is not Elon pulling power cords on Twitter servers. This is our healthcare system. If they had a plan to transform it and understand the implications I would be ok. But they don’t have an actual plan. They are walking into rooms and flipping switches to see what they do. It’s asinine and if you weren’t on “team red” you would be on here rightfully blaming the president,

People actually losing coverage or payments not going through.

Systems go down.
That’s it? I mean, I am speaking in general terms. As in do you have the slightest seed of a doubt that electing this guy was a bad idea? And if so, what would need to happen to solidify that doubt? Using military on a protest? A third term(constitution be damned)? Dropping out of Nato? Having all our European Allies telling us to f*cking off? What is it?

Edit: How about rising inflation 90 days in?

You think they were going to announce the system was going to crash before the system crashed thst they didn't know was going to crash....

I guess so would I but I don't think that is feasible.

Do you think it is reasonable to implement change without a plan? Breaking things to see what can stay broken is not how you do major change Whiskey. It just isn’t.

So my kids therapies are about to be cut off and I no longer have health insurance.

But people can't understand why people might let politics affect their friendships. You voted to do this to us.

So no we are not friends. I don't stay friends with people who screw me over.
So, you’re on Medicaid?

One would think that in planning for a move of this magnitude, the planners would consider what might/ could occur and take appropriate actions beforehand? When endangering others well-being with such an action, why wouldn’t a responsible person warn folks in the way of potential dangers… and solutions beforehand?

This is some serious fire. I thought it would take 8 months but at this rate it will be mere weeks before all Americans regardless of race, religion and income start realizing a massive massive mistake was made...then it will get interesting.
I honestly thought we'd have to wait until the first economic bill was passed by Republicans before saying "I told you so" but we had to wait a whole week.

The system had the plug pulled because an executive order was issued which had no specificity which basically ordered all federal departments save for social security and medicare to stop sending out payments so they could "review" the payments for compliance with other executive orders.

So everyone did what he said because they wanted to keep their jobs and because the money was no longer coming through they had to shut the whole system down. Then Trump & Co. suddenly went "Oh we didn't mean it like that". Well an experienced competent president wouldn't have signed that EO in the first place. An EO which for the record is probably illegal because if the president can decide not to pay congressionally authorized funds that essentially makes him a king able to overturn any funding law congress has ever passed in the history of the US.

Probably? Not paying out funds appropriated by Congress is why he got impeached the first time. I won't hold my breath waiting for Republicans to hold him accountable this time. I'm sure MGT is getting right on that.
