Elder Bush Says His Son Was Served Badly by Aides

Getting in late but of GHB said Rummy and Cheny did a bad job advising his son then I agree w the old man. In your mid 90s there is no longer a reason to lie.

I don't think GWB has a bad soul (whatever that is) but I do think he looked up to those two guys (BC they served his dad) and they took advantage of a go they could easily manipulate. It was GWBs biggest weakness.

He's always been the worst of the liberals. How he made it through college is beyond me.

Dean's List multiple years in one major, Academic Distinction in another, and qualified for Honors in BOTH majors, all at the University of Iowa. Reap it!

EDIT: I just realized this is HROT, so I'm an underachiever. :(

Then you're a f'n idiot. You do realize that Bush Sr. Is without a doubt the most qualified and accomplished President we have had in the last few decades correct? He graduated from Yale, was a Naval officer and pilot in WW2, former CEO of Zapata Petroleum, former director of CIA, former, Chief Liason to China, Former head of the RNC, US Ambassador to the UN, former US House representative, former director of the Council on Foreign Relations, former chairman of First National Bank, former Vice President and then onto President.

So don't tell me that he's not smart enough to come up with a little bit of political strategy. You're going to question a man with that resume? Just because you're too thick to see that, doesn't mean he is.
And yet... this "smart" President made the decision to stop the march into Baghdad where he could have maybe prevented the second Iraq War. All because he wanted to say he was successful in squashing Saddam in <100 days. That was to be his legacy. Bush1 had Saddam by the balls and let him go.
Who's the idiot again?

Still you and always you. Bush Sr. got the response he wanted and left it at that. So you're saying Bush Jr was right then? That Saddam needed to be removed? As in you now agrees with the need to stop him? How dull, how uneducated.

You see rock head, the second push into Iraq was unnecessary for simply 'eliminating the threat of Saddam', it was necessary though because he had shifted his business interests away from us. He stopped trading his oil with the dollar and after 9-11, we had our excuse to go full speed over there.

You need to educate yourself, you're not good at this.

Son... your anger issues are clouding your reasoning abilities. You should demand a refund for the anger management classes.
And reread the second paragraph. You're contradicting yourself, again.

No I didn't, I never claimed Saddam was a real threat, you did. I said he stopped playing ball with us and we decided to take him out and install another regime. Had he continued to play our game he may have lived. You're missing the point, the big picture, the real deal. You dig? Do you get it now?
