I'm no rocket scientist, but when Iowa had the ball with 46 seconds left, I immediately thought we should take a timeout and set up a quick shot to get an extra 10 second possession. Instead, Minnesota are the ones who get two shots and drain them both. Am I missing something or are our coaches just this dumb?

Yes, it made little sense. It came back to bite us as hard as it could.

I don't know why very few college coaches don't try to get a 2-fer, when they have the ball with about 40 sec left. I would at least run a play to score quickly. If it doesn't set up well, maybe pull back and run something else. We missed Connor's arm on the last play of the half. I would be trying to hit Keegan around the free throw line...
