@DFSNOLE while DFS is a solid poster the committee expected more from last year's Non-Iowa POTY. The effort demonstrated in 2021 was one of a guy happy with what he achieved last year, simply was not the effort needed or expected to progress to the next level.
@Moral, we constantly "hear" about the greatness, but it just does not come across in content. Maybe this former champion is mailing it based on past accomplishments, hopefully, we see a return to this supposed greatness in 2022.
MPOTY: @Jimmy McGill made up the category around May, I respect the middling game and creating a category for oneself to get a win

FWIW, I can't see how anyone would put @goldmom in the WPOTY category. Just because many disagree with her views shouldn't put them at odds with her. She typically refrains from senseless name calling and just calls it how she sees it (right or wrong...which is often a matter of opinion).
