He's had some really good teams at South Dakota State. Had Baylor Scheierman and Zeke Mayo on the same team.
Speaking of Greg McDermott, Alan Huss at High Point is a former Creighton assistant. Played under Dana Altman at Creighton. Coached under Craig Neal at New Mexico as well. His teams at High Point are great shooters and rebounders. Conference COTY in his first season as head coach.

We as fans tend to focus on IA centric candidates to fill open Hawkeye coaching slots but there are a lot of candidates out there that should be considered. It may be an IA guy like DeVries and McCollum after all but there are a lot of good candidates out there.
IA has a heck of a lot to sell I think. It will be interesting as I'm on the camp, like many others, that this is Fran's last year at IA.

Seems like a reasonable candidate, who understands the Xs and Os. Main question is whether he can effectively bring in high level recruits.
