I have several friends who work crew with ESPN..........Every single one of them say that Erin was the absolute WORST to work with on location. Ego thru the roof. I've personally watched her be extremely unfriendly to fans and students at UM when she did a few games there.

55 mil is ridiculous. I'd say 5 mil max is what she should get. Hell, if someone wants to take a terrible quality video of me through a peep-hole I'll take just 1 mil and be very happy.

I highly doubt this is accurate at all. I am sure the attorneys are taking their standard 30 to 40% but I don't think the settlement is taxable so it is likely none of this is correct. Edit - Apparently only physical injury and/or physical sickness in not taxable. Punitive damages are though. I imagine this is mostly punitive

My understanding is that the jury found the actual perp 51% at fault and the hotel 49% at fault so she only gets 49% of $55,000,000. (The article did not say the award was joint and several). That's still a good chunk of change though.

Let them. She won! Its gonna cost the hotel chain some serious money.....and the actions of that B-bag in the restaurant just sealed the deal. What a capricious stupid a-hole this guy was...and I'm sure the jury formed a link between he and his employer. Of course the award will be reduced. In this case however, its too bad this will happen.
I cannot believe that there are folks here who think Ms. Andrew's was not violated. What if she was your daughter?
