I've been watching the College Football Sunday show. It started at 0800 and it's currently 0854. Not ONE mention of Iowa or even a highlight. They've been slobbering over Alabama for most of the show.

I find it hard to believe that a college football show won't discuss a top 10 team AT ALL. These guys suck ass.

Are you F-ING KIDDING ME!!?? Shows over. Not one mention. NOT ONE. They gave more time to women's soccer, field hockey, and volleyball than Iowa's top ten win and undefeated season so far.

Correct, they talked about iowa for 3-4 minutes. Said 13-0 Iowa doesn't make playoff if Ohio State is not undefeated..

It does seem Iowa has a harder time earning respect then some of the other top 15 ranked teams. Maybe it's because of how average Iowa has been in the recent past. They also seem to be holding Iowa's so called 2015 weak schedule as the main factor. The only way Iowa is going to get respect is finishing the regular season undefeated and beat OSU in the Big 10 Championship game. I would hope then they're respected.

Ok. I started watching at 7:50 thinking it was an hour show. My bad. Be that as it may, that just says for a large portion of the second hour, they spent slobbing Alabama's nob. It was pathetic. So this show spends three minutes on Iowa and the rest of the two hours on the SEC.

Yeah, their actual quote (even after showing SEC highlights in first hour) at 8AM was "now we turn it to the SEC" and that's basically what the rest of the show was.. I really like the BTN.. Much more value added, just sad that usually only BT people watch it

Alabama lost to a team that has 3 losses. No other team in the country, not Ohio State, not even Notre Dame, would be sniffing the top 5 if they had the same loss on their resume that Alabama does.

Correct, Iowa will not getting any respect until the beat an undefeated tOSU team in the B1G championship as far as the four team playoff is concerned. If we beat a one loss tOSU team, we will not be in. Not getting any respect, just have to continue doing all we can do…WIN.

I know this is inconceivable, But anyway, What if LSU really wasn't all that we were lead to believe they are. I know Alabama is of course the pillar at which the media worships, But LSU just didn't look like a great team to me, The spin is of course that Alabama is just that damn good, Is it possible that maybe LSU just wasn't all that good to begin with?

I'm old enough to have suffered through a 1-win Hawkeye year, and far too many mundane seasons. While it would be nice to have the pundit accolades, I am smiling like a Cheshire cat at our current W-L record, our place in the standings, and the spirit and heart of this Iowa team. GO HAWKS!!
