Expect to see more of Tony Perkins & Ahron Ulis

Ulis only getting 3 minutes tonight is a travesty, he deserves more and that's an understatement....every time he steps on the floor he does something to wonder what he needs to do to get more minutes. My god the kid is special and Fran has Joe T on his brain and why did C.J. start tonight? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see he just is not the same player he was mid January. He needs rest and physical therapy to get back to his old self or he'll be lost for the remainder of the season if he continues to play before he's fully heathy...

The 3 young guards played fearlessly. None are finished products but man I thought Fran was calm and let these guys play important minutes and they delivered for him. The one thing I think people miss is how their D can get Iowa out in transition and playing downhill.

Well one variable would be that 18 of those 20 games were the regular season Big Ten conference schedule,... so 12-8 is "just fine"...
Do you think 12-8 this year is "just fine", with the same players + JBo? Yeah, me neither. So meh.

Same players + Jbo? Murray, Nunge, Pmac, Perkins and Ulis have something to say about that. This is a much more talented team than last year's team that played the bulk of the Big Ten schedule. Fredrick missed a number of games as well.

Last year Luka was a POY winner/candidate. The additions are a big reason we were considered a Top 5 team at the start of the year, and have consistently been in the Top 10.

Not the same players, seeing as our bench was also non-existent last year,.. So 12-8 this year without a bench?,.. Yeah, I'd be OK with that...

I suppose, Kreiner was decent, but Keegan is already a better player than Bakari Evelyn ever was IMO. I'm just not on the Toussaint Train, but he was good last night.

what last night proved to me:

Perkins, Uhlis, and Toussaint all have a role. They’re so much better defensively (our main problem) than JBo.

I’d prefer to see Uhlis get a lot more minutes as he seems pretty calm, cool, and collected when he does get minutes.

joe T was on last night, and that was great to see. I hope he keeps up that kind of production!

It seems like the freshmen have done a great job of staying patient and ready. They all seem assured that their time is coming.

Where's the rest of the team....23 of 35, holy crap what happened to this team at the free throw line. They used to be so good there!
The game was an anomoly in many respects. MI State doesn't normally shoot out of their butts, either. I think the game in East Lansing will be substantially different.
