Another great and f** thread. A lot great memories here. Most of the first ones that came to mind have been mentioned. I witnessed all but two of the actual f** ones, and enjoyed them all. The two loudest moments I remember in CHA were Simson-Voelker and Ramos-Oliver. I'm sure I'll think of a couple others to add but keep 'em coming guys (and gals).

No, I believe the huddle business started Gilmans SO year, his first year as the official 125 lber. He got planted by Brancale his FR year, when he and Clark were competing for the spot.

Gilman did go into their huddle fr year and then got pinned a few minutes later. The next year Gman went into the huddle again, and I bet he was in the huddle for a good 30 seconds. It was hilarious that the goophs did nothing. It was like he was part of the team.

Zalesky beating Carr was an amazing match... Jimmy Z was my all time favorite Hawkeye wrestler. Never though I'd see anyone beat Nate Carr that badly.

The Voelker/Simpson match was amazing, I was up in the cheap seats when that happened. HUGE ROAR from the crowd. IPBN got a good shot of my parents jumping up and down on TV as their seats were in the front row that year (the only year they had season tickets)

I was lucky enough to grow up in a wrestling crazed community and went to a bunch of Nationals as a kid. Haven't made any since 1997

That wasn't a bad last hooray. I was sitting with John, Jessie's younger, bigger brother and family for the weekend. John was my best friend growing up, best man at my wedding because introduced me to my wife at the National Duals in Iowa City. She fell in love with me because I ate about 5 ice cream cones and found out years later I had a piece of cone stuck in my nose like a big booger for a solid hour and she didn't tell me. Let's just say I don't impress her as easily after 15 years of marriage. Sorry, complete side story but it's Wrestling related so hey.

Need to get back to Nationals soon and meet up with all the other HR guys. Sounds like fun.
