As much as I wish that were true, and I have no doubt that Gilman was better and Lizak benefited from being on the other side, Lizak outscored Gilman 18.5-17.5.
Lizak 4 advancement points plus 2.5 bonus for a MD and a TF plus 12 for 2nd=18.5
Gilman 3.5 advancement points plus 4 bonus for 2 MD's and a Fall plus 10 for 3rd=17.5
I agree with so many already posted. I will say one of the loudest I ever heard at NCAA's was 91 in CHA when Reiland stuck Randleman.
Jeez - how have I failed to mention Ironside's comeback against Kolat in the all-star meet?!?!

Cleaveland or PSU, not sure. Juergens wins to give hawks the lead. Flexes. Everyone knows a Lesnar win at hwt gives the title to the gophers. Steve Neal is like a matador in a bullring with Lesnar. Wins the match. Flexes like Juergens did. Hawks are national champions and the place goes wild.
Not sure on the year but Iowa-ISU meet at Carver and Torrae Jackson is warming up to face Steiner behind the ISU bench during intermission I believe because it was pretty quiet. All of a sudden some guy yells out "Hey Jackson you suck" and the crowd erupts in laughter. Jackson took it pretty good and smiled towards the crowd where the comment came from but he was not smiling 7 minutes later after Steiner majored him!
Forgot about that one. That was very satisfying, but I don't think it was as loud as the others with it being more of a mixed crowd with it being the NCAAs.
It's been mentioned, but the entire Minnesota dual in '03 at Carver when Eustice stuck Lowe, freshman Johnston stuck returning national champ Becker, Fulsass suicide rolling Hahn, and Paul Bradley filling in for Mocco at heavy and nearly upsetting Lowney was unbelievable... Just moment after moment. Weird that none other than Tom Brands acting head coach for a suspended Zalesky that evening and was in charge of the the pre meet warm up and speech.

No... He had his coming out party beating a highly ranked Tirapelle just a week before. He was ranked somewhere in the top 10 at the time of this dual I believe.
