Take out your voodoo dolls and stay away from ladders and black cats because you guys are one game away from entering the fray of the elites. Alabama , Clemson, Iowa and Oklahoma.

Alabama will steamroll Florida on Saturday (@#$%%$#) and enter as the two seed somehow even though their schedule and loss are not as good as they want you to believe. Oklahoma clinched their spot on Saturday and their offense looks downright scary right now but that's against the Canadian League....err uh Big 12(10 teams). Clemson will lock up the one seed with a win over North Carolina on Saturday with the only unblemished record......... unless you guys beat Michigan State on Saturday which would slot you into the third seed even though it should be number two but bias you know.

That said would you guys rather play the stout Alabama defense in the Cotton or the explosive offensive juggernauts of Oklahoma or Clemson in the Orange? For the record I do think you guys win on Saturday over Michigan State who will not beat themselves. You guys are built similarly with a lot of overlooked recruits who get coached up by your respective HC's. I believe Ohio State would have been a much tougher foe with all their athletes and spread formation.

Just had this conversation with a Bama alum... we will take on whoever is in front of us. Most likely will reign the game into a last possession situation that can go either way.

I think it would be a major media meltdown if Iowa beat Alabama in the playoffs. Alabama gets more mulligans than any other program in the country because of the perception of the SEC West. Look at the SEC West for a moment and tell me why they are seen as world beaters. Ole Miss lost to Memphis and got steamrolled by Florida , but they beat Bama in Bama so they are considered a good loss.

LSU can't pass the ball for their life and also had multiple losses but hey they were undefeated and #2 when Bama beat them so great win. Arkansas lost to Toledo at home but hey they play in the SEC West so another good win for Bama. Auburn lost more than four games this year but heck it was the Iron Bowl so Go Bama! Texas A@M, Miss. State are average teams but hey they were ranked when Bama beat them so....you know the rest. Oh and hey they beat Wisconsin on a neutral field to open the season and Wisconsin is great in openers but not so much when they lose at home so that's another great win.

Hey look at what Bama has done in the past guys so they deserve the credit because they have been dominant in their bowls like the back to back championships against LSU and Notre Dame, oh they also beat Texas in '09. They lost to Utah the year before and went to the Capitol One bowl in '10. Recent history is clearly on their side because they beat Ohio State and Oklahoma in consecutive Sugar Bowls right? Oh.......... sorry.

They will win another SEC Title against a Gator team playing with a wide receiver for QB so yeah another reason to never question their inclusion over any other one loss team. You guys are undeserving of your spot even if you go undefeated and will get steamrolled by the Tide Express if you play them just like Ohio State did last year because they are Bama!

Saban is 5-3 in bowl games with Alabama. He has won at least 10 games a year sin his first season so there is a level of greatness there but if you are to believe the committee about going with the four best teams every year regardless of history you must ask yourself what they have done to distinguish themselves from the rest of the pack. They got a rematch in '11 for the title even after losing their own conference division because they are Bama and you are not.

I will be rooting for you guys to chip away at their mystique again if you get the chance even though I am a fan of an SEC team(Florida) and that goes against flying the SEC banner mantra.

Media meltdown if the Hawks win? Not so sure. Should Iowa beat MSU this weekend the media and general public will start to believe. Beat Bama too? the whole freaking world would be in our corner.

The media meltdown will continue if we beat MSU. The narrative will change more to the weakness in the Big 10. Unfortunately for them the committee has already placed great emphasis on the BT in its rankings along with AP and Coaches poll. But don't kid yourself, if we beat MSU and then get handled in the semis the media will trash our ass. Those that were negative on Iowa and have subsequently been trashed by fans are waiting in the weeds. Even the dumbass Cowherd said this much. Almost like a promise he will hammer Iowa when they lose. So, hope that won't be til another year.

Don't forget, Alabama's win over Wisconsin proves SEC superiority over the Big 10, but Iowa's win over Wisconsin is a mediocre win and shouldn't really be looked at as significant. Because....SEC!
