Not often you see Megaludis outhustled in that short offense position, but Tomasello looked pretty good out there.

Barnes was in on a shot on the edge, Meyer circled in and pushed them out and Barnes got hit for stalling. Nothing else really going on...going to the 2nd tied at zero.

Meyer stops on top. Rides him OOB. Barnes stands up, gets close to OOB...Meyer drops down to the leg and OOB. Barnes gets the escape. 15 left Barnes tries another shot but defended...headed to the 3rd. Meyer going down.

Meyer reaches for a high level single, Barnes shoots at the same time...quick scramble , Meyer comes out with the TD. Barnes on his stomach with 30 to go....on edge of mat....official calls them out with :14 left. Barnes up to his feet, retrun by meyer...rides him out....4-1 win.

Brooks on the russian, dudley fights out. Dudley elbow off to halfshot. Brooks going heavy on head. Looking for underhooks but Dudley ain't having it. Brooks got one in now, dudley tries a lat drop but misses and everyone comes out with no score. Brooks in on high level single but can't really get it off the mat. Underhook tie up. Brooks going hard on collar to a snatch single, trips, almost has it but shin whizzer in , Brooks trying to come to feet...now powers to it....oh wow, gets it with five seconds left....nice....2-0 headed to second period. Brooks going down.

Dudley almost gets the reversal but just gets the escape. 2-1. Brooks in on again with a single....finishes....4-1....immediate escape....4-2...Brooks back in on underhook...tries throwing it by but misses it and Dudley gets the easy go behind. 4-4. dudley has a wrist...Brooks builds and gets the escape. 5-4 12 seconds left....Brooks gets called for stalling for pushing Dudley out. Period ends....Brooks goes down,
