I now have an official man- crush on Joey Galloway. He blew Finebaum out of the water. " Iowa doesn't give up 90 yard untouched runs like the Big 12 does". Lol!
He must really hate the big 10. Dudes an SEC guy advocating for the big 12. The South will rise again.

anybody else want to give that guy a double " wet willie" in the ears
<talk about how Finebaum is a whiney bitch>
Bottom line of what today proved is that an undefeated Iowa WILL be "in."
Personally I think Hawk fans should just flood his phone lines tomorrow. I mean flood, so nobody else can call in and he has to talk about Iowa for three hours just to torture him.
IT'D BE LIKE A REAL LIFE HROT ROAD TRIP!
Yeah, Finebaum clearly hasn't watched us play...major props to Galloway for the respect. But frankly, I'm with Herbie, I'm not sure why Oklahoma St. came in at #8. Even though it seemed like Herbie was bagging on us a little, I think Oklahoma State does deserve to be higher than us with the best win and in dominate fashion between undefeated teams.
Let's just remember, as awesome as #5 is this week, we could be #7 next week despite winning. Bottom line of what today proved is that an undefeated Iowa WILL be "in."
Yup, Herbie bugs me too. Not as much Finebaum but he just won't accept the Hawks as one of the top teams in the country.Herbie is starting to grate. Really want to beat tOSU...

Finebaum dismisses Stanford's loss to Northwestern as insignificant because it was early in the season, and then he brings up Iowa's bowl loss from last season?!?
By the way, Alabama is a hell of a team but when did THEY become flashy? I am not comparing us with them but not being flashy should not mean lack of respect. Win all your games, balanced offense, solid defense, win TO battle, solid special teams..... Ok, so we are not flashy. I could give a sheet.
Didn't Michigan shift two time zones that same week to lose to Utah??? They never made a case for Michigan...Excellent point. But you forgot that the Stanford loss at NW was at 9:00 a.m. pacific time. This fact, alone, nullifies the loss. No team should ever be expected to perform to its ability at 9:00 a.m.
Yeah it was getting heated, but Galloway, and the other guy who's name eludes me, have respect. To be fair Galloway is a big 10 guy, and has actually seen the games.

Yes, TCU was ranked #8 and they've only lost one game. Add they had a top heisman contender that committed 4 TO's to the team in question. So pardon me if that was a rhetorical question, but I'd say a general agreement by most would say absolutely yes.TCU is #15, OSU beat them at home. NW is #18, we beat them on the road. Do they really have the more impressive win?
Amazingly stupid logic. It's what I've come to expect from him.Finebaum dismisses Stanford's loss to Northwestern as insignificant because it was early in the season, and then he brings up Iowa's bowl loss from last season?!?

No considering TCU has zero quality wins and Northwestern beat Stanford at home.TCU is #15, OSU beat them at home. NW is #18, we beat them on the road. Do they really have the more impressive win?
Is that the old turd that looks like he just stepped out of American Gothic? He makes no sense in his rationalizations.anybody else want to give that guy a double " wet willie" in the ears
