Ridiculous to expect the long snapper, holder and kicker all monitoring the Nebraska coach to see if he calls a timeout one second before the snap.
Any such timeout should occur before the players break huddle or line up in formation.

Rhule’s protest is similar to Trump’s filing a lawsuit vs. The Register/Seltzer!
It creates a lot of noise initially… and then it is just ignored and goes away.

What happens is once the timeout is confirmed the officials will move towards and behind the snapper to prevent the snap. They had just started to move towards doing this when iowa snapped it.
If the officials have moved and told to center not to snap and he does then plus the kicker kicks it would be delay.
