By the way, Alabama is a hell of a team but when did THEY become flashy? I am not comparing us with them but not being flashy should not mean lack of respect. Win all your games, balanced offense, solid defense, win TO battle, solid special teams..... Ok, so we are not flashy. I could give a sheet.

There's different elements to their game that separate them from typical pro-style teams.

That and when your lineup is all 4 and 5 stars and you dominate teams that are highly ranked.......you tend to get a lot more cred.

Yeah it was getting heated, but Galloway, and the other guy who's name eludes me, have respect. To be fair Galloway is a big 10 guy, and has actually seen the games.

Kannell I thnk. He is an ex Florida QB and NFL qb. He also went to bat for Iowa on another espn halftime show.

Galloway and Kannell have actually watched Iowa games this year.

Funny he mentions last years bowls and mentions one of 2 wins the entire SEC had after they finished like 2-5 and top teams did poorly. But you know you are trolling bad when have to refer to games from the previous season. And didn't mighty Alabama barely beat Tenn at home this season and score in final minutes to regain the lead. Shockingly he forgot those 2 things. Funny right after he mentioned last season bowl game the host Reece Davis quickly shot that idiotic comment down.

Other guy besides Galloway is Danny kannell who is now co host with Ryan rusillo on ESPN radio. He took over after Scott van pelt left. Kannell has been pretty complimentary of Iowa, rusillo not so much but surprise he loves sec football.
