Reffing - despite definitely 2, maybe 3, completely horrible no-calls on obvious fouls - Iowa wasn't hurt all that bad by the officials on Thursday night.
They just couldn't capitalize at the FT stripe and it cost them a HUGE opportunity.

Exactly….when fouls are called and the Hawks shoot a reasonable percentage from the line, chances are very good that we get a win!
On the Rebraca Technical foul, I thought he was the one who got fouled. Maybe it was black and gold blinders or I saw it incorrectly, but it clearly looked like he got hacked on that play.
I may have to go back and watch it, but Keith Kimble had several questionable calls and non calls throughout. Lil Larry wasn’t an issue and Doug Simons (who I’m unfamiliar with) called a solid game. (Outside of the two or three fouls that Rutgers was trying to give on Perkins, which he eventually got right).

Didn't they even declare that they needed to call the game differently for the second half during that little halftime bit?
They did call the foul on Rutgers then Rebraca said something to either the Rutgers player or the reff and got the technical.
Iowa got the ball after the freethrows.
Too bad this didn't happen on Thursday night, as my original reply alluded to.
Agree. Was at the game and I don't remember seeing the two officials. I will never forget Courtney Green after last years Indiana game.
