Me too, because this GIF plays on repeat in my mind for most games, and after that point I'm never sure if I'm laughing or crying harder.
Two undisciplined teams but one far more talented than the other.
YOu were right, Illinois is not very good.
You just forgot the mathematical relationship Iowa < Illinois.
That is just crazy enough to be possible. WE will then be a team no one wants to face after beating NW, and MSU .
Uncharacteristic 16 turnovers wasting a 36-31 advantage on the boards. Illinois still a very untrustworthy team.

Illinois was very good this season until the illness and injury. Illinois had 9 different starting lineup in the last month. Ivisic had mono, a bad ankle sprain and then the flu. Jakucionis missed two games with injury then played others with the flu. White, Riley, Davis, Gibbs-Lawhorn all had the flu. Morez broke his wrist just as he was playing very well. Illinois and Wisconsin last week just waved to each other after the game so that Wisconsin didn’t have to shake hands with the sick Illini. Yes, some excuses, but Illinois hasn’t had its whole team since the Indiana game when they had Indiana down 32 in the first half. They won by 32 at Oregon. They beat Wisconsin, Missouri, Arkansas, UCLA. Health is the key. They are not a great team. Youngest power 5 team in the country. But they are pretty good when they are healthy.
How stupid..run up and down the court for two hours. spewing droplets everywhere and they worry about a hand shake? A good hand washing cures that. Nothing you can do about breathing...

Illinois was simply terrible against UCLA in Champaign. Gave up a 16 point lead with three minutes left, and won by 2. If the game was 30 seconds longer, they would have lost it.

Their program has had more talent than Iowa’s for a very long time now….it would be interesting to track how many players at Iowa the last 15-20 years even had offers from Illinois. I am guessing they would have liked to get Freeman, but had someone just as good lined up to commit…😎

Good golly! I watched some of the second half of that Duke game....
From the players, to the head coach, to the staff, to the team managers, ...that is a team that has completely given up.
That $3M dollar roster just bought them the worst loss in the entire history of their program.
We're going to win.
We “owned” Champaign … we throttled that team and now Beth is working on an extension for Fran …
Well...I got carried away with our Washington win and Illinois' 3 game skid where they looked legitimately horrible. I still don't think they're good, we just cant stop anyone good.
