Life is indeed a circle.

Good episode but man they didn't really resolve anything for being a finale.
SPOILER
They resolved the #1 issue; is Cassian an ally or a liability.
Plus, could they have just left out the clip of the guy headbutting the storm trooper and knocking him out? Lol cmon.
I agree. That was pretty ridiculous.

They resolved whether or not Andor would be “disposed” of, while setting up season 2.
Yeah, but we already knew that. They left Dedra and Syrix or whatever his name was, right where they were. They got Bix out and his friends running from Ferrix. Marva's speech was climactic for sure too. I still feel like s2 e1 is going to be the same as s1 e13. There really wasn't any resolution for me. Maybe I'm thinking too hard about it.

I think Andor is highly overrated. Most of it was very boring with some excellent action sprinkled in. Jmo

Get ready for an exhilarating ride in Star Wars: Andor Season 2! The galaxy's most daring spy, Cassian Andor, returns with even more high-stakes espionage, thrilling action sequences, and unexpected alliances. As the Rebellion gains momentum, secrets will unravel, new adversaries will emerge, and the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance. Don't miss out on this epic chapter that promises to deepen the Star Wars lore and captivate fans like never before! I can't wait to watch it with you, friends of HROT.

I hope it's better than the first season.

I think Ahsoka is going to be really good.

I thought Andor ended with them catching the dead? Or another show did. Maybe I need a recap

IMO Andor is by far the best Star Wars product in recent years. Honestly arguably the best going back to original movies.
Yeah I've heard that. I thought a lot of it was kinda boring for what it was. I like a lot of other things in the universe a lot better. I do intend on giving it another watch though. Maybe I'll like it better.

Ehh, saw a promo for this yesterday and it looked good, but it was also a whole lot of girl power. Having strong female characters is fine, but pretty much exclusively female characters? Overkill. We get it, "the Force is female".

I think I'll wait and see how this one is received.

Have to wait until August 2024. But 12 episodes at least. We will also have House of Dragons in 2024 the spring. Anything so far in 2023 that is close to these series? The Bear is one but so different and so short. Could be a full-length 3-hour movie. Oh Last of Us was really good and Succession was excellent but I would put them a notch lower.

Yeah but Ahsoka is hot so there's that. Lol

I did not see the cartoon series so I do not know anything about the main character. And I did not like her that much in the, I think Boba Fett, series where she saw Luke. Rosario Dawson is super hot but she comes off as hallow to me. I hope the series will be good. I didn't love Mandalorian S3. Kenobi pretty much sucked except for the incredible duels. The writer and director of Ahsoka is the same guy who wrote and directed the Boba Fett series. Take that for what it's worth. He also did some of the cartoon series.

It's different from everything else. What I think is amazing about the show is the complex character development. The characters aren't simple troupes of good and bad guys. "Good" characters do bad things. The "bad " characters aren't just evil for evil sake. You can understand why they have chosen their path.
There is all kinds of things interesting perspectives on politics and society running throughout the series. How fascist regimes function, who depolitization plays a role in fascism, how people become radicalized.

Rebels was a pretty good cartoon series so I think there are some good elements there. I kind of think Mandalorian was at its best when it was sort of like A team or Kung Fu where they tool around solving problems week to week. I think you can do that and weave in some broader story lines but I think it is almost better Mando and Grogu aren't huge epic heros.

Right? Just finding themselves in a larger plot.
