For My Fans…

Went to the Dermatologist today and the result is a NEW AV just for y’all!
Another head shot….didn’t want to see a plastic surgeon this time, so “a partial close” was performed and a longer recoup period is guaranteed..
But nothing is too good for you…my people!
First, I wish you all the best. Second, the med students who work for me are using your photo as incentive to consider a career in dermatology 😉

I didn't realize your brains were actually leaking out. My apologies, i'll keep that in mind going forward. Hope you have a quick recovery. That looks painful.

OP needs to change his handle to "Abdullah the Butcher".

His head was so scarred from continual blading it is reported he would go to Vegas casinos and stack chips between the folds of the scars.

your head is going to end up with more craters than the moon

I always have a place to store my golf ball marks. Any size from a Kennedy half dollar to an English penny.
....and doubtful you'll end up with hep like the butcher.

Butcher not only contracted hep from his numerous bloodbaths....he was sued by a rassler who got hep from a blade job he didnt consent to happen.

I have to ask; are they removing the cancer piecemeal, or just finding new stuff every 3-6 mos?

Best of luck. I think they might be more successful just cutting your head off. ;)

New stuff……my skin is a breeding ground for basal/squamous cell cancers….its got a name, I just cant remember it…There are some meds out there that “might help mitigate” this condition but no guarantees and these meds can be very hard on your liver and kidneys and require frequent blood checks…so, to date, I have decided iot is not worth the effort/expense/risk.

Cancer In Situ? That's what I have been dealing with, pre-cancerous Melanoma according to the Derm Dr. Two big chunks on my back in essentially the same place which is concerning, since it was 18 mos apart when found. I go every 6 months but have only been sliced and diced twice.

I am not at the “melanoma” threshold thankfully…..however I see my guy every 8 weeks for “freezing” and biopsies if necessary…..I am paying for the sins of my youth today…..I was raised “pre” sunscreen….didn’tlike to wear hays/caps but thankfully always wore shirts…I hated to go bare backed….but my arms and head have lots of battle scars….,.,

I, too, have had more squamous and basil cell carcinomas cut out of me than I can count. Have a Mohs surgery scheduled in a couple of weeks to have one taken off my neck. Fortunately, no melanoma (yet).
