Did you look at the list of countries in the pew poll?? This is not just limited to one sect. It’s the widely held view of most Muslims.
Most Muslims believe sharia law is the direct word of god and most believe it should be the law of the land in all Muslim countries except for a few in Central Europe and Central Asia.
I’m guessing the only cure for sharia law/islam and religion in general is education. I’m guessing the few muslim countries that aren’t favorable to sharia law have more educated people and women.
