I'm not so sure it is easy with 7'2" guarding the inbounds play. Plus it was very necessary that Purdue play the best D at that time as they could. As it turned out we did get the ball inbounded and to the right player. JoBo.

That is why Fran saves timeouts, for MUST have situations like calling TO 2 times to inbound the ball at end. There are times when he should call a TO to set up strategy near end of games but it also makes sense why he doesn't for key situations like last night.

Fran did draw up some layups and got em to the line out of TO's. Big part of the win

Sure looked like Pete asked for the TO indicating to Fran that he was tired. A similar TO in Lincoln may have difference. Not here to harp on Lincoln, just glad we learned from it
