Not one news story to back up your assertion which you made during the game the other night. I'd ask for a link but already looked. You just flat out lied to make Iowa sound bad. You are a troll and no Iowa fan. Iowa's fans dont make up lies to make the team look worse.

I gave you a like for this one. Refs swallowed the whistles for A&M at the end, but if UNI players looked at an Aggie funny, they got called for a foul. Not a big fan of UNI, but felt they got screwed that day.
I went back and searched for a total number of techs over his tenure. I found a Mike Hlas article from 2011. After the 28th game of that season Fran had been T'd 7 times. At that time the entire league had 6.
That's 1 in 4. I highly doubt he's had more than 7 in a single season since. I would love to see a season breakdown though.
Can't find any news story on the Mrs being ejected, although she has been ejected twice before in games where Fran was booted. Once at Sienna and once at Hofstra. At Sienna she interrupted Frans press conference to give the media her profanity laced thoughts on the horrible officiating. Fran had to shush her, and evidently the AD had to make a public statement that it would never happen again.

I had a friend at the game who saw her get asked to leave then get escorted out. Several others have said the same thing. I'm not sure why you think there would a news story on that and I don't care if you believe it happened or not. Your fragility about Iowa sports is mind blowing. Suck it up, buttercup.

Yes he does take it too far sometimes. I get some of it, looks good to players to see they have his back. But he sometimes gets too carried away with it that he can hardly be in the mind to coach a game anymore.
Iowa seems to get decent calls by refs at home, so his reactions seem to make a difference.

That was my point as well. The guy is supposed to be leading the program, and that charging the ref crap is not leadership, its a lack of self control.

Hawks need to figure out why they can't shoot on the road. Shots were there, but they just were not making them.
They were open looks at NW, but they were rushed. Iowa wasn’t comfortable at all on the offensive end and that’s a credit to NW. Road games are hard.

I find there to be just a hint of irony that so many find it embarrassing that a coach can lose his sh#t from time to time but consistently come to this Board and lose their sh#t after every loss.
Just the pay level should indicate higher standards of conducting one's self. Some posters struggle pumping gas.
The amount of money a person makes should serve as no indication of behavior. That's just an excuse.

If you are being paid a ton of money as a representative of the school, conduct IS IMPORTANT. He is not the janitor.
Watch other coaches some time. He's hardly the only one who gets a technical or a little unhinged once in a while. Put on your big boy pants and don't get so offended.
I think y'all should be even more embarrassed by all of the "fans" who come out of the woodwork to complain about Fran's behavior after a technical, when he runs one of the cleanest programs in the country.
Should Fran just sit there when he sees particular officials making lousy calls, or maybe say 'thank you sir, may I have another...'? Officials should also be held accountable, but it seems like the same bad officials get renewed year after year. It shouldn't be hard to put an evaluation system in place for officials, and those receiving low ratings should go away.
