Is that Murin on Warner’s shoulders? Can’t quite make it out. Glad to see they’re having fun. It was a damn fun game to be at.
I was there but couldn’t make out who it was..... I know after Brands got done I was looking for a brick wall to run through 🥃
Anybody know where I can watch a replay of Brands speech? Or when he spoke (pregame, halftime, etc)
What an awesome game to watch, I hope there is somewhere we can listen to the Brands speech. The Hawkeye fans were a huge part of that win!

YEAH, you are right. The way ps was backed up inside the ten in the second half and the way Clifford panicked in the first half Hawks would have won by more.
Kirk Ferentz is not Hayden Fry. No more head scratching needed. That's who Kirk is.

Can someone post Word for Word what Tom Brands said, I can’t make it out, all of it anyway. I was close to them sitting on the 20 yard line 1st row right behind QB’s but it was loud. Shit you not, my ears and hearing is still messed up this morning.

I actually believe him but I get what your saying. I was quoting verbatim, it won't read the same way it was communicated in the moment. TB would have a harder time not being passionate, he's just sharing who he is.
So if they would happen to lose a Dual they're "afraid"? Does. Not. Compute.
I think what he is saying is that whether or not the Hawks roll out all of the starters if/when they wrestle PSU at the duals in Florida will determine if what coach Brands said at the game was legit or "coach speak".
so that was the purpose of your post, to call out brands for ducking before the season even starts.get your own team so you can decide who gos each day.
Tom Brands has never been afraid even when his teams couldn't hang with Penn State.
He was firing up whomever was in earshot, at a BIG Iowa event (including his guys, and recruits). Nothing more, nothing less.
It's coach speak many say it anyone ,anytime and anywhere. All I'm saying. Coaches always say we dont want to wrestle so and so happens all the time. Don't be fooled by coach speak. And I'm not calling out Brands here guys ALL coaches do it
