I wonder how long until the top schools in the BIG and SEC push for a similar arrangement? Some of those schools are leaving a lot of money on the table by participating in straight revenue share. I know a lot of Iowa fans will say that will never happen, but if we've learned anything in the last 15 years, its that loyalty is an antiquated concept in college sports.
Not disagreeing with the premise, but one big difference between FSU and the Big Ten schools that have a brand of their own is being in the same conference for over a hundred years.
On just ratings, Ohio State football was probably the only college team to have more cumulative viewership than Iowa Women last year…so there is that to consider also… yes much more games, but still a value.
