I would imagine numerous defendants will be accepting plea deals shortly. The attorney's fees have to be killing some, and the fear of going to a medium-level state prison in Georgia has to be scaring the hell out of most.
They aren't gonna get those plea deals unless they agree to testify
And time is running short....
Once some of this initial stuff is out of the way there is every reason for these low level folks to look to make a deal and testify against the others.
First in get the best deals. Willis will only cut so many deals, but she may also want to tidy things up. The fewer the defendants going to trial the better the case becomes.
The first thing I thought of when I heard Hall had agreed to a plea deal and testify was, "Did this bail bondsman take notes, or tape any calls and keep them as an insurance policy"?
He has been straddling a fence for 2 years now. Giving up bits, holding bits back. The danger of spending a few years in a state prison in Georgia will be tough for him to gamble on. Doughy old white guys don't do so well in state prisons.
He's invested so much in staying in Trump world, and continuing to grift. I think he's still at a think tank funded by Trump, so clearly Trump knows the danger Meadows poses to him. No wild tweets about Meadows, either.
With the possible exception of Jeffrey Clark, Meadows is perhaps the least prepared person on Earth to mingle with inmates of Fulton County. And he knows it. We all know it. Fanni Willis knows it. He takes a deal or checks out.
It appears as if Cheese Bro and Kraken have been offered plea deals, along with the low level party functionaries who participated in the shenanigans in Coffee County. Kraken is crazy, so she's going to Major Kong this thing all the way to prison. Cheese Bro was at the insurrection, so he's probably a lost cause. Getting the party officials to flip would be a nice bit of housekeeping.

Rudy has lost both of his lawyers in Georgia.

….and the con man he risked everything for won’t give him money to defend his liberty and whatever is left of his reputation (although he did send DTjr to a “beg the big donors” fundraiser for Rudy for which Trump himself took a slice of the action). Probably trying to drink himself 6 feet under before the jailers come to take him away.
