I understand all the knocks on Minnesota, but you can't ignore the success they have had at the 2 upper weights the past 10 years. They have blown away the field over the past 20 years. If I were a top notch recruit like Steveson, the fact that you have a program with that much success(in his weight range) in your own back yard is hard to ignore!

Hey, I like to argue as much, or more , than the next guy. I consider everyone on this forum a "friend" just because we're all wrestling fans. I get nasty every once in a while, but don't take anything I say too seriously.
And I meant what I said about your passion for ISU!
I always heard Mitch got soft around the holidays.
None of these quotes one of which is mine, indicates that this forum thinks he will be a hawk. Only that Iowa may possibly be in consideration.
How long did it take you to scroll back and find a thread from six years ago? Lol. That in itself is impressive.
I actually found it on google when I was trying to see if Iowa ever had a real shot at Stevenson. I found it a fun read with all the predictions about how kids would turn out so I thought I'd bump it back up.
Some things I saw…
Predictions were for Spencer to be a 4x AA, anywhere from 2-4 titles. Was pretty spot on here. Probably even better than expected.
Predictions for Warner to be 4X AA, 2 time champ. Could still get it done but probably not likely.
Predictions for Teasdale were quite a bit off. In general predictions were 3x AA, 1 time champ.
Good bump for this thread. Was fun to go back and look at predictions.
Funny how this would’ve actually been possible due to pandemic.
