He was as unqualified professionally for the AG job as anyone could ever be. Then his moral and ethical character come into play, also.

Secretary of State has been directed to expedite it, but it's by House Districts, which involves multiple counties in each district. Dates aren't settled yet, but should be settled by the end of the year. There will have to be a qualifying period, a primary, and general election. General election supposed to be 30 days after the primary. It likely won't be settled until February at the earliest.
I don’t think so honestly. I think he would not win if he ran for Rubio’s seat because he’s not well thought of outside of his district.
(At least that’s what I’ve heard).
Tulsi is in serious jeopardy if she was a person of interest in the DNC leak.

I don't think it matters. If Gaetz runs again, and happens to win, the House likely won't seat him.

Right now House is 220 to 213 with two toss ups in California. How many Republicans have resigned from House to take Administration roles 2 that I can think of?

His district will see him as a victim and vote for him to reclaim the seat in the special election. There is a good chance that Florida MAGAs will make him the governor in two years. Republican voters won’t hold his exploits with underage girls against him. Most of them will want to know how he got away with it for so long and can they do the same.
Nixon nominated a guy for SCOTUS who didn’t make it. Bush II nominated Harriet Miers who was a clown.
