Football Parking Changes for Friday, Nov 11:
  • Fans with Iowa football parking passes will be able to access their assigned parking lot between 7:30-11 p.m. on Friday, as they have all season long.
  • Football parking passes do not allow access prior to 7:30 p.m. Fans attending the women's and/or men's basketball games need to have a valid men's or women's basketball parking pass or pay the applicable public parking fee to enter a parking lot prior to 7:30 p.m.
  • Football parking passes are good for only one entry in the lot. Any fans that attend the basketball game(s) on Friday night and use their football parking pass for entry into a lot will not be able to leave the lot following the basketball game(s) and return on Saturday for football.

MBB Parking Changes for Friday, Nov 11:
  • Public parking will not be available in Lot 75, as this lot will be reserved for men's basketball parking pass holders that will be displaced from their regular lot by women's basketball and football RV parking pass holders. Public parking will be available for $5 in Lots 65 (Finkbine Commuter), 43N, 43W and 43NW. Hospital Ramps 3, 4 and the Newton Road Ramp will also be available at the applicable hourly rate.
  • Public parking and shuttle service to Carver-Hawkeye Arena will not be available at the Hancher Auditorium lot, as the newly re-opened Hancher Auditorium has an event scheduled Friday night.
  • Cambus service will begin at 5 p.m. from the Cambus stop on the south side of the Pentacrest in downtown Iowa City (on Washington Street, south of Clinton Street). This service will drop off fans one block east of Carver-Hawkeye Arena at the VA Loop, as well as pick-up fans postgame from the VA Loop. This service will begin at 5 p.m. and run until 8:30 p.m., then resume at 10:15 p.m. and run for 60 minutes following the end of the men's basketball game.
  • ADA parking will be available in Lot 33. Entry is only available through Dental Drive (no access of Hawkins Drive) and requires display of a valid, state-issued ADA placard and the $5 cash fee.

Looks like Williams/Bohannon will have their hands full this first game... Their matchup averaged 18 PPG last year

That would be nice to see the second group get some quality minutes. Would really like to see some meaningful time for Ellingson and Moss. It would be great to see someone really step in to that role, to spell Jok for 5 to 10 minutes. I think if we push him to 35 minutes per game, you'll see a drop off in his production. Just need to leave Pete in for good stretches when he's hot. As we've seen, when he's on he can fill it up in a hurry.

Did anybody else have problem with video quality on BTN2GO? SIAP but my picture was really bad, like 1980's vcr bad. It would go HD for a minute then go back to sucking for most of the game.

Initially mine was '80's VCR bad, but that only lasted a minute. After that it was fine.

Looking a little closer at the Kennesaw St stats, this will be an interesting game from the perspective of experience vs talent. KSU will start senior PG and center/ Iowa's will be frosh. Their PG, Kendrick Ray, averaged 18.7ppg, 36% from 3. However, he's not great at ball-control: 2.8asts/2.5TOs per game. CW could cause him problems if he has trouble holding onto the ball already. Both of their starting guards (one of them has graduated) averaged 18ppg last year, so they've been an outside-in team. The returning C and PG were their leading rebounders, so we might get a better idea of where we stand there. Can't wait!

My BTNPlus feed was actually surprisingly good compared to years past. My only complaints were the sound engineer screwing up the mic levels and the fact that they forgot to come back from the TO for a minute or two in the second half.

My picture quality was great. Except for the mentioned already performance of the guy responsible for turning the game back on at the start of the second half.

I gotta say, the one good thing I did when I bought my last PC was buying a smart tv instead of a monitor to hook it up to. I now envision the day I have it hooked up to a huge screen with a wireless keyboard and mouse and just sit across the room like some Bond villain watching the world I control on video screens. Maybe even another television or two so I can have more things going at once. I'm practicing my evil laugh and looking for a white cat to sit on my lap. Perhaps even what looks like a desk but is in reality a fridge, snack bar and whatever else assorted evil I can think of including a button that shoots nerf arrows across the room at the refs.

The evil Bond villain all while wearing a Hawkeye cap and shirt of course. I can see it.

Those are very lofty goals. What's next, President?

Picture quality may have been related to internet connection. A lot of times with internet streams, the picture comes in super fuzzy, then clears up once it gets going. If you had a bad connection, I could see how it never cleared up
