I thought Cook and Moss were the only ones who played with any aggressiveness. Cook played well in my opinion. I hate that after every loss every one of our players are considered awful players and worthless division 1 scholarships. We have good players. The main problem is we have mentally weak players.
We pounded the ball inside and we still got drilled. We got to the free throw line early and often in the second half but our mental toughness was non existent tonight. We felt sorry for ourselves just like against Rutgers and Wisconsin. We've got to have a little more mental toughness than that. We have too many players that have played lots of minutes for that to be acceptable. You can see how important our outside shooting is to go along with our inside play. JBo and Weiskamp were non existent. I hope fans hold them to the same standard that they hold Cook and Moss to when they contribute nothing to the team. Maybe they are the ones that should leave the team this next season. At least Moss tried to attack the rim when they were overplaying the three point line.
