Thanks for posting this, I missed it because I'm at work. Incredible. Iowa did it right with this.
I did not see what all the press was about at first till I saw a night game last week and saw all those lights in the stands. it was powerful
I was a part of the wave for the north texas game, was incredible to be a part of. I hope this never stops.
Do they charge the sick kids more to be on the stadium-view side of the building?

I volunteer a lot of my time at the Children's Hospital.
I've been on the 12th floor for two games now, and I can tell you the emotion is real. The kids and families love it.

Yep. As @TylerJ76 mentioned on the football board, it's tough seeing Kirk cry. Always gets me going too.
Yep. When he broke down talking about Greenwood in an ESPN interview a couple years back, it got me.

Outcome of today's game was a bummer. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the CLAS at the University of Iowa in math and I'm going to be there in the stands at Kinnick next Saturday for homecoming. And we're going to bruise up the Illini. And, before that, we're gonna wave.

I looked down that hole 7 years ago when they told us that son 3 had leukemia. The UIHC is wonderful, and my son is a healthy 14 year old today. My son was visited by Hawk players, including some who had used up their eligibility. Right now, our offense is struggling and we lost a couple...but Kirk is a good man...I will always cheer for him. I am proud to be a UI Alum.
Sorry if I charged your ass $17 for parking on multiple days. It was my job. I had to scuttle off to the bushes to smoke weed just to get through charging people $17 to park at the hospital. I'm sure it's gone up since then.

Meth too, but that wasn't planned. We bought some not-X X. We stayed up all night and traded secrets and nobody woke up with any of their weed left. Blunt after blunt. Meth is bad news.
