You guys think that Garza will log many minutes for the Pistons this year?
I tend to agree. Not sure how they’re going to dump Okafor though. If they do, they’re definitely eating his contractIt depends. If they are able to do something about the roster before the trade deadline, I'd say his chances are better to play more.
As it stands, I'd go with 30 games, maybe 15mpg in those. If they move or cut Okafor, I'd maybe double games played and bump minutes to 18-20mpg.
Honestly, I expect more games/minutes late in the year. I'd guess he might start in DET, go to the GLeague, then come back up for the last 30 games or so.

What’s Okafor’s output been like lately? His contract, for this year anyway, shouldn't be an issue. They aren't going to add more money and they're already over the cap. If they cut him, he'll be a cap hit this year, but not next year. If they can find a buyer, they'll save part of this year's $$$.
Honestly, I'd look for them to cut him around the deadline if they can't trade him, then fill his roster spot with Garza...which is a big reason why I don't expect LG up much early in the season. Save his games for the 2nd half.
Epic Garza shots thanks guys
He provided 5.4 pts and 2.4 rbs for the Pistons last year. He averages 10/5 for his career which is heavily weighted at the front end. What’s Okafor’s output been like lately?
Addition by subtraction.Well, this is is a positive development…
Jinx hahaThis could be huge for Luka.
If he could be an impact player off the bench his career would be assured.
Go out there and grab it, Luka!
