The idea of an outside group coming in, rebuilding Gaza, and then and taking responsibility for security is reasonable,.. It's unreasonable to think that an outsider like the US could pull this off,.. Better approach would be to assemble a coalition of neighboring middle eastern countries to take on this task...

I can agree with this approach. Hamas won elections by being terrorists though. I would also point out that the so called peacekeeper in Gaza were assisting Hamas in their mission. Until people realize that the people in Gaza and the West Bank are being used as proxies to fight a war of terror with the goal of eliminating jews and Israel nothing can be done. For decades the approach has been taken with the idea the Palestians are negotiating for peace and independence. They have never been negotiating for that. Ever. They have been negotiating with the sole aim of eliminating Israel and the jews. Nothing else. They have been funded by Iran and other Arab nations that want to end Israel. Dead Palestinians is the point for them as it works towards the end of Israel and influences the world community. That is their objective
Interestingly enough Israel itself also funds Gaza and the West Bank with humanitarian aid and services. They went so far as to put in plumbing for water and Hamas tore it up to use the pipes as misses. A weird approach for Israel to take if it's goal is genocide. Especially since the population of Palestinians has only grown over the years.
It is time to end this charade of working for peace. Peace will never happen until the Palestinians are either relocated or brought into the culture of Israel or the surrounding Arab states. Nothing else will work.
