Germany open to 500,000 refugees each year as crisis grows on continent

Pope Frank called for each European parish to take in 1 family. Apparently there are about 120K parishes in Europe.

There are around 17K parishes in the US. It would be nice if US parishes would take up the challenge. But if America resembles HROT, almost nobody thinks we have any obligation here, and surely not many Americans have what could be called a sense of Christian charity toward these damaged people.

Since BHO in large part helped cause the problem, we do have an obligation but we need to be careful in how we do this and how many we take. BHO and other libs have talked about the evils of American leadership around the world and without American leadership this is what happens

Germany is going to create a massive problem. A half million people with no desire to integrate? Muslim ghetto terrorist breeding grounds will abound.

What happened to the Germans? They used to be hard assed.

I've lived in Germany for a quite a few years. Got stationed at Spangdahlem and stayed when I retired.

Anyway, IMO the majority of Germans are having serious second thoughts about their "open door" policy with the refugee's. They simply didn't expect to see this massive migration....caused in large part by Germany's policy's/promises. We've also seen an influx of other migrants...Romanian "gypsy's" ect...

That's why you see the German government pressing so hard for a "European" solution to the problem now.
