Get Ready for Higher Egg Prices!

In November and December 17.2 M egg-layers died as a result of avian flu. The egg shortage is coming and will be with us “for many months” according to American Food Markets.
Damn Trump and so much for his getting the price of eggs back to a $2/ dozen!

(I’m just being fair and holding Trump to the same standard as my MAGA friends held Biden to post-Covid…Fair is Fair!)
Presidents don't control egg and gas prices you fool. ;)

So the liberals made up another virus to over reach their authority and kill millions of chickens, unnecessarily, to raise prices on the normal americans?

Sounds about right.
If you are a normal American I want to be abnormal. Although, I still haven’t decided if you are playing the long game with this handle.

Usually go to breakfast Wednesday mornings with a group of guys.
Ordered 2 eggs. 1 paddy, muffin and coffee. Usually $10.03
Today with inflation $11.23.

That's the moron pretending he's leading our country. I bet President Musk would have known that simple fact that there are no Champagnes produced in the United States. Apparently Donnie is just a Big Mac and Coke guy. Although maybe they served champagne on those airplanes that were flying during the Revolutionary War that he told us about too. What. An. Idiot. 😂😂

Not champagne.
It may look like a duck and walk like a duck but its no duck :)
It’s sparkling wine, just like French Champagne. It’s produced in the same manner as French Champagne and it’s marketed as Champagne, albeit “California Champagne” or “American Champagne” for legal reasons. But it’s essentially the same thing.

If the price of French Champagne suddenly doubled or tripled, it stands to reason that more Americans would start buying Andre or Cook’s or Korbel or Wycliff for weddings and other special occasions, doesn’t it?

I am just following the law

So are Andre and Cook’s and Korbel. When the US finally agreed to abide by the Champagne laws in 2006, the deal grandfathered American companies who had already been producing and marketing Champagne. They were allowed to continue doing so as long as they called it “California Champagne” or “American Champagne”.

Correct. That doesn’t negate that one bottle is champagne and the other is _____ champagne.

Apparently the egg retailers in Mississippi North haven't gotten the memo on the supposed falling egg prices?

HyVee Grade A large eggs are currently $5.97/dozen. Considering they were supposedly $12/dozen just three days ago, I’d say that’s a substantial drop.
