U.S. consumer inflation increases at fastest pace in nearly 1.5 years in January 2025

Lol - yes, I highlighted your dumb mistake. That seems to have damaged your fragile ego.

I also highlighted the rest of the nonsense you posted. Wonder why you ignored that?
not damaged at all, I even made a self-deprecating quip about typing being hard. I guess your half a brain cell was stuck on the rest. I didn't see you really address anything else other than the typo.

He’s the only one I have on ignore. He brings me down to his level. Morbid curiosity makes me look at his posts every once in a while.

Oddly enough, his fellow liberals don’t defend him, and he can’t figure out why.

He is dumber than a rock.

I don't need a button to ignore an idiot, when I grow tired of his schtick, I'll just scroll by his posts... for now I'm mildly entertained and that's what we are all here for right?

Yes. It isn’t for intellectual enlightenment no matter how hard some try to convince us they are intellectuals.

A wealthy friend once told me most people are average, and average just isn’t that good. It’s true.

Sounds like that friend was delivering a message to you.

BTW, nice projection.

Highest rate since the Biden years....
We'll see if Trump lowers the inflation rate like it was lowered during Biden's administration. Obviously you're a rube who thinks Joe was responsible for global inflation out of a pandemic, so no sense trying to explain anything further.

It takes a year for the impact of tax stimulus to start reaching the economy and it accumulates from there.

And seriously? You can't think of any other factors that came together with this stimulus to create the inflationary timeframe we had?

I guess that shouldn't surprise me.
Yes
It wasn’t the tax cuts and it wasn’t tariffs.
Keep trying.
You might get there but it’s a longshot.

Gold.
Thanks.

They certainly contributed..tax cuts, artificially low interest rates and poorly aimed “free money” set up the conditions and then spurred on by a broken supply chain…Trump policies certainly played a major part in setting things up for inflation…
Congrats
You're now as far off the rails as Joes place.
Well played.

All the stuff the GOP won’t be able to run on in 26 and 28 because the policies failed.

Dems need to learn their lesson here. Put forward approachable candidates with policies swing voters care about and ammo on how Trump and team screwed it all up.

That should be the game plan, which means it probably won’t be.
Pretty easy place to start:
