Two of the largest flares of this solar cycle are en route to earth.

No lunar interference and largely cloudless forecasts make this a great opportunity.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a G4 storm. Remember that the storm in May of this year was a rare G5 -- outside chance we get there again.

Wife woke me up at 1 am to go look. You could tell the sky in the north looked green and pink but it wasn't super impressive. But that's partially because we have a good amount of light pollution and couldn't go to a place with less light pollution because it's a weekday.
