You guys played a tough game. We're very lucky Woodbury didn't get called for the shove in the back on that tip in.
he really got away with one there.......I know they usually don't blow the whistle there, but if that would have been called Hawks would have had nothing to complain about. Can you imagine that meltdown? If they lose on ft's from a foul 95 feet from the basket? I would have stayed off here for a month.
Congrats on a fine season. Temple fans are some of the classiest around. And i'd have said that even in defeat! Good luck next year!
Iowa will have to shoot better than 1-20 (or whatever it was) from 3 after the hot start to beat Nova. If Nova is cold anything is possible. Iowa is due for a monster game.
I found it interesting Iowa got cast there, first with Temple, then possibly 'nova. A Philly Invitational of sorts.

I've got a lot of respect for the way that Temple team was coached, and the way they played.

I was impressed with DeCosey and bond. If just a few more of your shots fell we would have been toast.
Well aside from Iowa fans, everyone else there was rooting for Temple as we're the announcers by the end of the game. The team everyone wanted to win didn't win. I'm fine with that.
Iowa's lost plenty of games they "deserved" to win so I can live with that.
