Good thing about the Pinstripe Bowl

And smell of trash, smoke, feces, and old food. Not to mention congestion, travel, etc. I dont think any one has a problem sitting thru a cold weather game, its the fact that most would rather get away from 30 degree weather to 60-80 degree weather if they're paying that much money. Not to mention its not going to be christmas anymore by the time iowa plays. Pretty easy to understand with half a brain genius.

You're just full of original. You probably rack your brain coming up with these.

You're weak little bitch, now stfu. It's over, you're a proven idiot that should be relegated to lurking and save everyone's fleeting time on their short trip around the sun reading your drivel.

Enjoy your Alabama gulf vacations you country cousin, rube.

Interesting article about bowl game quality this year versus historical average for each bowl. The Iowa vs. Boston College matchup is way above the average quality of previous Pinstripe games (not saying much, probably, but still). Either way, it's an interesting read. Only Ohio State and Northwestern also are providing above average matchups out of the B10 teams. The other five teams are below average matchups. Not surprising, really, especially the Purdue vs. Arizona game.

Proven idiot? How is that? What did you use to prove it? You're a nut and im pretty sure you're schizophrenic. Go hit your bong stoner

I think Iowa wins , I predict BF comes up with some wrinkles to the offense and spreads out the TE's and makes it very hard for BC to blitz , that being said I am equally ready to see Wadley getting ran into 9 man fronts until we are 14 points down after the first 5 3 and outs.

NYC is a dump.

Let's agree to disagree since you don't know what you're talking about. No schizo, I just struggle with your ignorance , Dr. Phil.

Stoner? You weirdo.

Happy Holidays! PEACE!!!

My first person on ignore.

10-4 hoss. Merry christmas

Never had much interest in NYC before, but took wife to NYC for the first time in late Sept and had a BLAST!
So much to see and do that we couldn't get all we wanted to do accomplished in 4 days. So we are going back and spending a few extra days through the weekend. Yes it's a big city and if you're not comfortable walking around downtown Chicago it would be same in Manhattan. Weather might be cold but no diff from here, so not a problem for us.
Not a destination for young kids imo...
Go Hawks!!!

High of 30 on Wednesday! Whoop! I was in Kinnick for the coldest ever game against (win) Michigan, this will be almost balmy compared to that one. It NEVER gets as anywhere near as cold in NYC as it does in the midwest, thank you ocean. Still, layer up if you will be in the building that Jeter built, and be sure to warm up with some tasty Irish Coffees at Playwright after the game. Go Hawks!!!

As far as the game, itself - I didn’t like the fact that Jim Reid was the opposing DC. I think this, plus the fact it is closer to a home game for BC, and losing Alaric on the OLine are probably hurdles too big for us. I hope I am wrong.

If you were the coach, would you do what KF is suggesting on the OLine by rotating Wirfs to LT and bring in Levi at RT?

I am not sure Levi has played any meaningful snaps all year. It just seems to me we would be better off by (1) rotating Wirfs - only because I don’t know if we have any other bona fide options; then (2) push Welsh out to RT and (3) Reynolds to RG. My thinking is that Reynolds has at least played starter-type minutes and Welsh has played RT for several games for us, before Wirfs took over.

It is too bad Boone can’t play. That would be a great solution at LT since he has played there for a couple of seasons worth of snaps. Then everyone else could stay put.

BC has an edge rusher that is first round material. With everyone changing positions, I think this guy could make it a long day for Stanley. I think the wrong team is favored. Again, I hope I am wrong.

Looks like you're ready for about anything! ;)

I'm seeing a high of 27, low of 17 (yikes), wind 10-15 mph. Not exactly conducive for the fans.

The Hawks have some W's in cold games, as you mentioned. Maybe this will be ok for the players.
